About the Program: This program covers major aspects of Environment including Water, Air ,Soil and Noise pollution; their control technology; effects of pollution on ecosystem and management of Environment etc. The programme is design to provide for orientation towards Environmental problems and issues as well as in depth training and imparting skills in the various areas pertaining to the Environmental Science.
Duration of Program: Two years full time

Location: Department of Environmental Sciences, University of Pune, Pune
Eligibility Criteria: B.Sc. (Science), B.E., B.Sc. (Agriculture/Horticulture), B.Sc. Home Science Biotechnology or Bachelor of any Science subject with 50% marks.

Selection Procedure: For the students from University of Pune 50% weightage B.Sc. Principal subjects + 50% marks obtained in the Entrance test. For other than University of Pune students, only Entrance test marks will consider for merit list.
Objective Type - Multiple Choice exam with two sections:
1st section (50 Questions / 50 Marks) - General Knowledge at B.Sc. level.
2nd section (50 Questions / 50 Marks) - Environmental awareness and current Environmental issues.
Negative marking: 0.5 Per Question
