About the Program: The teaching programme is interdisciplinary and the course cover emerging areas in life sciences. One of the outstanding features of the M.Sc. training programme is that a major emphasis is given to hands-on practical training of the students. Scientists and experts from other research institutes and University departments participate in the M.Sc. teaching programme. Scientists from India as well as from other countries visit the department to deliver seminars which help in widening the horizons of the students in terms of information and knowledge.

Biotechnology with 60% marks OR B. Sc. Graduates of any other University with Zoology /Life Sciences / Biological Sciences/Animal Sciences etc as principal subject and with 60% marks

Objective Type - Multiple Choice, Short Answer (SA):
Section I (60 Questions / 60 Marks) - will consist of multiple-choice questions on reasoning and comprehension.
Section II (60 Questions / 60 Marks) - will consist of multiple-choice questions in Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at 10+2 level.
Section III (25 Questions out of which 15 are to be attempted / 90 Marks) - will include short answer questions in Zoology, Biology, Microbiology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Statistics at B. Sc. Level.
Negative marking for section I & II, 0.25 marks/wrong answer
